I got quite emotional as I completed this run milestone run W5R3 this morning . There were a few firsts too - first without support of my boyfriend( yes I know I laugh at having a bf at 59) as we have just split up and first with music - thank you Spotify! ..

Question though— my coach suggested doing this run again before week 6 - is this a good idea?

Sorry to hear of your break up and proud of you for getting out there and running through it. A repeat is a strategic choice. Do you feel you need to work a bit more on stamina, pace, style or confidence ? Because if you can do week 5 you’re ready for week 6, so the choice of polishing first or launching straight in is yours. Enjoy it, whatever you decide x

Good run... it got me too! You can repeat if you like, but there’s no real need to do so. Slow and steady into week 6 and you’ll be just fine.

Well done! I just completed this run this morning too. My other first was the first time seeing a horse during my run, which distracted me nicely from wondering whether I was going to be able to do it. I'm planning to go straight into week 6 and see what happens.

Sorry to hear about your break up. Who is your coach then ? Why would they say repeat the run?
