Feeling so disappointed with myself today I literally hit a brick wall & have to stop my run with exactly 5mts 26sec left on the clock. I was literally overheating out of breath & I GAVE IN....... Well that’s a load off my chest here’s to trying to pull it out of the bag again tomorrow with less layers & more get up & go

Hey Coxy, don’t feel so disappointed in yourself- you were out there running, which is excellent! To get to the stage you’re at, is a big achievement. Wow! I hail to you!

Give yourself a pat on the back and yes, get back out there and try, try again.

I’ve tried and tried and tried! And I will keep trying.

So, see you around fellow runner, Pat.

I did this run on Wed and struggled as I did with w7r1. I’m hoping it will start to ease but I feel your frustration Coxy01

Take your rest day and then you’ll have it for sure. You’ve done 2x25 so this was just a blip... you know you got it and you ran 20 a few weeks after 1 was a struggle... that’s pretty cool when you think about it.

Just make sure you do not close your mouth. Well done for starting the program.

Make sure you have a days rest. Sounds as if your will nail the next one, but start slowly

Never mind Coxy. Remember the First Rule of C25k: The only run you fail is the run you don’t go for ! Rest up properly, remember to hydrate, and enjoy your next run. We’re all behind you here !

Please take a rest day before you run again. It does matter.

It’s not a failure to run for nearly 20 minutes. Although you set out to do 25, two weeks ago you’d never run for 20 minutes before so keep it in perspective :) Everybody has a bad run now and again.

Take your rest/repair day, then give it another go. We all have runs that don't turn out the way we wanted, but they are helping towards your strength and stamina. 🤩

I start off with a running top covered by a fleece. At the end of the 5 minute warm up walk I tie the fleece around my waist. I recommend to run slowly. Yesterday i did W7R3. I'm calling it C2 30 minutes as I'm only covering 3.5k including the start and end walks. Good luck and don't be down hearted. 20 minutes was magnificent anyway. 7 weeks ago you couldn't have done anything like that xx
