i decided to do run 2 today as yesterday was raining all day so set off all ready , just started 3rd run and the bottom heel part of my left trainer decided to part company with the uppers ! so needed to try and tie it up with the laces just to stagger home .
another 100yds and the right one decided to do the same !
was difficult even to walk home !
should have known better i guess as these were trainers i forgot i had, i found them in the wardrobe yesterday, hadn't worn them for years ! i guess the rubber had perished and they decided to fall apart .
Ahh well, will repeat it on Saturday, frustrating as the run was going fine !

Sorry but I must admit your post did me laugh, running along and your trainers disintegrating π annoying I know but not your fault....were they made by Nipe or Adidan π
I suspect they are more Air and less Nike now. These things happen. My trusty Brooks Ghosts finally gave up the ghost recently, so I've just been giving their successors a shakedown.
π€£how annoying, but what a great story! you must have run on fire, and they could not take it anymore! On just one run, you have outrun your own Nike Air Trainers! ππ½ Not many people can say that! Nice! π₯ π ππ»ββοΈ
Oh dear, your post did make me smile though! Although youβre frustrated at least you can see the funny side of it. I think some running shops have reopened, I might be wrong. If so I suggest going to get fitted for a pair, that will analyse your running technique and suggest trainers to support or correct whatβs required.
