Once I convinced myself that slowing down was necessary and wasn't actually a 'fail' I got on okay.
It's been a busy week and the next few look like they will be too so trying to find the time to fit my half hour of running in is going to be more important than ever (better keep telling myself there are no excuses for not fitting in a half hour for myself).
The thought of week 4 is daunting, I won't lie - 5 minutes seems a long time. But I have to keep telling myself that I've thought the same before starting every other week.
Onwards and upward!

Well done. Each run prepares you for the next so just stick to the programme and trust it. Yes, it's hard but then anything worthwhile is. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it and they're not. You are therefore you're brilliant 💪💪
The life changing benefits are huge so it's the best investment you can make for your future health and the future you.
Good woman Emma. I've just finished week 3 too and scared myself by looking at 5 min runs in week 4!!. Like yourself I struggle but get it done and we will struggle and get it done week 4 also!! What I do notice...i hate the thought of going out hate hate hate but I really appreciate and value the feeling about 15 mins after completion... I'm chasing that and more of it!!!
