Week 3 complete

Just checking in... week 3 done and looking forwards to run week 4 on Sat 😬

It’s weird how the longer times of the runs feel tough, then when it steps it up the following week, it seems so easy running the previous weeks time.

First week 60seconds seemed so tough, now it seems to feel easy.

Last week I was thinking 90secs is tough bring back the 60secs...

This week I’m thinking 90 secs feels good now, bring on all the 3 mins!

I love how thinking back in such short spaces of time you can see the little bits of progression along the way.

I hope this feeling continues and I’m able to keep pushing myself and surprising myself as the programme steps up!

As each week I keep thinking how on Earth am I gonna be able to run for longer next time!!!

🏃🏽‍♀️

Hey Steveoz

I track my runs on a Garmin watch, it’s a screen shot from the Garmin connect app 🙂

I’m not familiar with Apple watches but I’m sure it probably has an equivalent! Good luck!

Ahhh I just had a look at what week 4 entails - for some reason I had in my head it was all 3 min runs!!! There’s 5 in there... eeeeeek!!! 😱

You are so right!

Interestingly, that's exactly the same reason why you shouldn't look forward too far.

It can be scary, and the natural thought is, I cant do that.

But we think we cant do it, based on where we are at that point in the program. And the truth is, that's right. If you're on week 2 run 3, then you cant do week 5 run 1. But by the time you get to week 4 run 3, you'll be ready!

The program is really amazing. I'd never still be running now without it, and without the support on here!

Happy running!
