From chemo to C25K

Hello everyone, this time last year I was on the cancer part of HealthUnlocked. After 14 months of chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy and immunological treatment, I have returned to running using the C25K app (Jo Wiley is my woman). I carried on exercising all through diagnosis and treatment, but not running. I'm now on W4, R2 and so far, I am loving the programme, the positive encouragement from you all and being in this part of HealthUnlocked. Thank you for sharing your stories and wisdom.

AK, you sound like you have been through one heck of a year... But look where you are now! Hopefully all the treatment is over & well into your recovery. Coming through that and now taking up this challenge is great, and will no doubt help you enjoy a very long and healthy future.... 🤞 👍💪🍀

Aw, you guys! Thank you for being so welcoming and encouraging. Rest day tomorrow (Zumba instead of running) and back out on Sunday to keep on keeping on.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

This plan is a brilliant way to build yourself back up after any illness or treatment. Just take it nice and steady. Slow running builds stamina.

Enjoy your journey.
