I've seen a few people on here who have an app that states how long you've ran, what distance and what your heart rate is. Can anyone help me with this obviously I don't want it talking along with c25k thanks

Strava, Nike Run Club, MapMyRun and tons of others. All track, all will silence and all do things slightly differently.

Heart rate will require a watch or other monitor.

I have Mapmyrun, it tells you all that you asked in your post except heart rate, perhaps someone else will have an app which also tells you your heart rate.

I personally find MapMyRun easy to use and it gives a ton of stats. Not sure about heart rate though, as I only use the free version. It’s been great for me.

That being said, l’ll be leaving MMR for Strava at Christmas, as I have a lovely new Garmin watch waiting for me, and they sync together. 😀🎄🏃‍♀️🎁

I use the Strava app on my iPhone when I run and I use the C25K app as well. The C25K app works as normal and the Strava just tracks your runs in the background.

Strava will show you your route, distance & pace etc, and records segments of your run so you can compare to other people who have done the same run, and it’s rewards you with personal best and achievements when you get a quicker time on your segments etc.

I also have an Apple Watch so I use the work out app to record my run as well just for more info and the ease of being able to look at my wrist to check how long I’ve ran for and my pace etc. Apple Watch also shows you your heart rate.

My mum uses her Fitbit for her runs as well as the Strava app on her phone.

Hope this helps! Keep running 😁

One of the best sites I used when I used to run before watch Fetcheveryone. It’s free to use or you can donate and have it ad free. You can track your runs, see predictions of longer distances and it uploads straight from Garmin or Fitbit etc if you use one. It does do the tracking itself like strava but still good to have a look at 😊

If you have a newer samsung it has health built in and will automatically start tracking you from the warm up walk or you can tailor it to just record running, it gives you pace distance all that stuff.

I've just got an old cheap garmin as a watch just for this it records in exact the same way but also you can look at the watch as you go along and see instantly pace per mile, distance and time.
