Hi everyone, does anyone have any advice on apps that track your run distance or run planning to achieve a certain distance? I don’t expect to cover any huge distances as I’m quite short with little strides but it would useful to know how I’m doing as I progress.

Hi

I use Strava to check my progress it gives feedback on all your stats and lots of support from other runners as well.

Thanks

Roxy

The free version of map my run was recommended to me, and I get on well with it.

Sorry - I need to correct myself - I have just looked at my phone and realised it is Runkeeper I am using, not Map my run!

I use Nike Run Club and really like it. Like how it has all my runs together, and theres challenges to complete as well as guided runs.

Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll take a look at these apps before I go for my next run in the morning. 🙏

Hi flute_of_fancy ...I use Strava but unfortunately you have to subscribe now to benefit from certain features so I would recommend Map my Run...you can set time/distance and have someone piping up every so often to tell you how far you’ve run....there’s even a Sargent major to bark orders at you if you want!! Good luck 😉

I use the free version of Mapmyrun. It works fine for me. I also use Nike run club for some burbling from Coach Bennett now & then for a change! 😄

I started using ASICS runkeeper and switched to Adidas Runtastic. Both are good, the main reason I moved is that I buy more Adidas gear and the apps tend to offer spot offers etc and whilst I'm yet to use either, I'm more likely to use the Adidas one (I'm assuming Nike and any other sneaker brand would have their own version with offers too).

I use Sports Tracker. Absolutely free and very reliable👍

I am using Runkeeper and it’s easy to use and provides you a decent amount of data.
