Hi guys...which tracking app do you use? I'm only just getting to grips with Strava, and would also use Samsung Health..but if there are any other recommendations, I could easily switch.
Also...is that how you track how far you run...and do you only track for the running time and none of the walking?

Strava is the most popular... the Facebook of running apps it’s very good for showing your friends that you’re awesome. It really depends what you want from a tracker... and so I use 3 🤣
All of them do the same thing really, so I’d stick with what you’re used to unless you need a feature that Strava doesn’t have (or doesn’t have for free that others do)
Personally, I only track my runs (including walk breaks) but you can log the walking warm up and cooldown too if you prefer... it’s your data! As I run with a watch, it’s easier to just tap a button than it was when I was using the phone only.
Auto pause will stop recording if you stand still and start again if you move. It can give false PB’s so I never use it, and it won’t pause if you walk.
Hi i have a galaxy fit(e) to go with my Samsung heath and it records all your info about your run, very reasonable price compared to fitbit etc so technically with this you don't need anything else downloaded
I use Adidas running and only track the run not the walking. I have been using it for years for walking as well. Find one you feel more comfortable with but that’s the best one for me 😊
Strava for the runs only ... yes I have to get my phone out but I couldn't identify the difference in pace between brisk walking and running 🤣🤣 i have it set to tell me my pace every 0.5km as I am new to consolidation and found it really difficult to keep it steady. Particularly as my run is up and down terrain. Just using the free version at the moment.
