Hi, fellow runners

Cant believe its just over halfway in the program now! Really starting to see some differences in my life now, mainly not being as tired doing basic stuff!!

Week 4 went smoothly, there was no reason for me to be apprehensive at the end of week 3, I now trust the plan fully and completely :)

I can see its a big week coming up now - if anyone has any advice for the final run in Week 5, please do share as I want to be fully switched on for this major milestone

Run 2 is longer... add up the runs plus the brisk walk. Run 3 only looks scary... slow and steady and you’ll do it... and it feels so good... week 5 is the best week.

Yes indeed, I think will start of much slower than I have been doing on the shorter runs to make sure I complete it and gain the mental boost, looking forward to that day when I get to type out I managed it :) Cheers

I went on a guided run the other day and I was told to run it at 3 or 4 out of 10 effort... I think that’s where I’d recommend virtually all the long runs.

Well done on getting this far! Don’t stress about W5R3 I did that and it’s easy if you follow the plan!! Plus the great advice on here is invaluable when you start doubting yourself. Sounds like you’re doing fab ...keep going

Thanks, I will just focus on the first 2 days before even thinking about run 3! - I will make sure I have a positive mindset on that day, cheers for the comment!

Just believe that you are ready and can do it. I found the first 8 mins tough and thought about quitting then got through it and could’ve actually gone further 😀

Whooooha 🙌

Well done you.

My advice re Wk 5,especially "that last run" is.... Totally enjoy it.

It's seriously the BEST run in the plan.

Mentor and in my opinion C25K'S Yoda Iannodatruffe.... Has written a great post on Wk 5. I would highly recommend that you read it, because the last run is dreaded by most and shouldn't be.

You can do it, you've proved how far you have come.... It gets better and better 👍

Just keep doing what you're doing, slow and steady.

Good luck and let us know how you get on 💪🙌
