And so, I'm bored! Currently lying in a hospital bed, not because I'm ill or anything but because I'm on a clinical trial testing a cancer drug. It's not as daunting as it seems, but never the less I can't do any exercise at the moment as it sends your bloods all over the place, but the upside is you do get to rest!
The downside though, the C25k plan is going to take longer to achieve than scheduled and so I've decided to stick to W6R2 which is comfortable and not push until after the silly season. My logic being, better to run 2x10 minutes sessions two or three times a week and keep stamina up whilst enjoying mince pies, pork pies, roast turkey, cheese, chocolate and wine (all in moderation of course!!) than struggle or not run at all. Then graduate in Dry Dieting January when everything has gone and I can concentrate and focus properly, I hope that makes sense!!
Upside, had my gait measured, new trainers purchased and next run this Friday!
Ps. Merry Christmas everyone, Baa humbug!!!
