WOW! I couldn't quite believe it when Jo said, "Well done, you've just run for 28 minutes." It felt unreal. It was souch better than any of my 25 minute runs last week, and except for last Wednesday, they weren't bad. ππ
It was along the old railway path again; my usual Monday. We will see how Wednesday and Friday go in the Park.
All preparation for a 5K ParkRun on 15 December in Richmond, London. With my brisk 5 minute walks I am doing over 5K, but I want to be able to run the whole distance.

Great job out there. Itβs coming easier so looking very promising, youβll be in consolidation running around that parkrun I guess, you should have what it takes to close out the 5k by then without much extra effort. Enjoy run 2
Excellent. Iβm hoping to do a 5k run in August next year. Iβm quite a way off 5 k yet only doing about 2 miles per day , three times a week, but Iβm hoping the more I keep running the longer Iβll be able to run for xx
Hi BlueCal we're both at at very much the same place W8R1 done and I''m aiming for a Park Run on the 9th Dec. At my current pace I'll need to add another 5-6 mins to make it to 5k.
Thanks BC52, I'll have a look at those links. I've been using map my run to track pace and distance, but true to the advice I've just been targeting time run not pace or distance.
I'm still incredulous at my progress and the success of this programme, and I didnt think I'd make 10 minutes never mind 28!
Yeah, while I'm doing C25K I'm just thankful to get to the end of the run. I'm not worried about distance at the moment, so much, but with a 5K coming up, I want some kind of idea how long my friend will have to wait at the finish line ππ€£ππ€£
