Didn’t have my running buddy Bella the choc lab with me today as I incorporated a trip to get my nails done into my run. I walked to the salon approx 20 mins then started my run and ran the long way home. It was refreshing to go on a different route, a bit hillier than usual because I usually try to find a flatish route from home. I live in the Peak District so it’s quite hard. All felt good. On the second 5 min run I could have kept going but I kept to the plan. Looking forward to a curry and a few drinks tonight. Have a good weekend everyone 🏃‍♀️🥂🍽💄💅🏻

I too have just done W5r1 but on roads in flat Norfolk. Ii am not sure I could manage the peak district hills.

I have managed Each run OK but am beginning to get nagging doubts in my head before each step change in run duration. I find it so much easier to run on pavenents/roads than my normal off road routes that I have decided to do the first run of each week on roads just to prove to myself I can run for longer. Today I even managed an extra minute at the end of the 3rd run, to help set me up mentally for the 8 minute runs next time.

I’m going to rest today and tomorrow mainly because I had a very late night/early morning this morning and get a good nights sleep and do run 2 on Tuesday morning. I always run on pavements at the moment but love a bit of off road. When the days are longer and I’m up to the same pace as my partner we will go out together in the country side. Good luck on the plan
