A calm day, blessedly, and good for running. But …
I’m getting a bit concerned about running conditions. October was unusually mild here, November so far _not_. Once again ground frost, even though I usually run around midday. There’s no problem when running on grass or gravel but tarmac is treacherous; there are localized patches of ground frost which make me feel insecure and so affect concentration and stride. I suppose that I’ll have to find a new route avoiding tarmac …
Today I added an extra layer of head covering.

You are certainly feisty! Another cold climate runner was planning to run in a local stadium over winter. Any such facilities near you?
Good point. I don’t know of any indoor running track, only the treadmills at the local gym (with inadequate air conditioning ). I’ll have to look around.
I don’t really mind the cold; I can dress for that, but ice underfoot is a big turnoff. Did W5R2 in the gym of necessity, experiencing stale, recycled air and severe monotony
I must go outside in a few minutes and check on conditions for today’s W5R3.
You can do it! Have a terrific run! Ice would be the worst! I'm thankful we don't have very much of that here. I'm still learning how to dress so I stay warm enough and don't get too sweaty!
