Just waiting for my neighbour to get home (8pm) and we can make the jump from 5 to 8 minutes of continuous running. I got to run Park Runs a couple of years ago when 67 before breaking my left ankle just walking along a dry path. So I know I can do it but it still seems a big step up. 3 2 1!!

Hi dennisaf, you can definitely do this. You are physically prepared for the jump! Yes it’s hard, but some of the runs before now have been hard too. Go flip those psychological gremlins the bird. You’ve got this 😀
Thanks Jiggles7. Got it done with no problems except that the track where we run gets locked at 9pm and we finished at 9.02!! Thankfully we found another way out but it meant a lot longer walk than we had planned for. Onwards and upwards. Thanks again for your support.

Good job so far... you’ll soon be back at parkrun
Thanks. I have planned to run the first one on 22nd December when my sister is visiting us. We may try and make it a big family event as one of our brothers has a birthday that day. Have a great weekend.
