Gutted!

Finished W9R2 and had a bit of a knee twinge as I’d spent my rest day in the gym working on my leg muscles. Since then I haven’t run but have been busy going to the doc, physio and getting painkillers, anti inflammatories and ice packs. After 2 weeks I’m walking straight and the knee pain has all but gone. Not sure if I should try and finish the last W9 run or go back to a previous week when I restart. Any advice?

Sorry to hear that. Personally I would just carry on where you left off. Just try and slow down. You are so nearly there and obviously can do it apart from your pesky knee. Good luck x

Thanks for the encouragement- I’ll have a bash at the weekend and take it slowly 😊

Just go easy, assuming the doc/physio is ok with that. 2 weeks won’t have lost fitness.

Thanks for the advice. You’re right, I shouldn’t be too bad after only 2 weeks. Guess I’m underestimating just how much my fitness has improved over the last 9!
