After running this morning in torrential rain and high winds, I was sitting at home with the sun shining through the windows this afternoon. Perhaps I should’ve waited and ventured out in daylight. 🏃♀️🤣🏃♀️🤣

The luck of the run .. but the good news is..the runs wait..
Sea was crashing over the sea wall. Wind and rain. I ran out along the cliff and kept going. I love a bit of weather.

Maybe... of course if god have waited the rain would have turned to hail and the winds gone to gale force!
Bad luck! I, on the other hand, checked the forecast and switched my day around to do an errand this morning instead of after my run. It was torrential all morning, but the forecast said it would dry up at 1 pm,( I didn't believe a word of it ha ha) anyway, I headed out at 1pm exactly, and the sun came out 🌞. It was very wet underfoot, water streaming down the sides of the road and I changed my route slightly. Its tricky this time of year, sometimes you'll be lucky and sometimes you get caught out. All part of the fun 👍

Hi Shelley2310, you could have just absorbed the sun through the window, giving thanks and recalling your battle against the elements from your earlier run. Had you waited, the weather may have changed and you may not have enjoyed the sun through the window. Always be blessed when the sun shines. It will make you smile -at first from the corners of your lips, then spreading to a grin like a cheshire cat. Enjoy the sun - we don't get enough of it.
