My old friend Stenosis is back. Crippling back pain. So I’ve been advised to stop running as it’s too much impact. I can now walk. Just about. I’m so disappointed. No other words. But I’ll complete the program but walking instead of running. I’m Gutted.

Gutted
Sorry about your Stenosis returning Wheresyourmum, I hope you will recover from that very soon, not sure which week you are on with C25K, I advise you to take a break from the course until that Stenosis goes as I am not sure if it counts by walking as C25K is a running🏃🏾 course. 👍
Aww, I'm gutted for you ☹️ Don't know much about Stenosis but hopefully, as it returned, it will also ease again. If you're going to focus on walking I believe there is a walking community group here that may be useful also. Hope you recover soon
Thank you. I will.
I have just had to give up running, but because of my condition, I had plenty of time to come to terms with the impending conclusion.
It is tough, but continue to celebrate what you can do and stay as active as you can. It reaps rewards.
Keep walking, keep smiling.
Bless you. Thanks yes I will.
So sorry to hear that!
Go and see a Physio. Keeping moving is the best thing. Try swimming or biking to keep active!
Thanks. Yes. When back eases a bit. Yoga works. But right now must rest it.
Oh no! Hope your pain recedes. And sending you lots of patience with your back.
Also I thought I’d send you some links to our sister forums, that also are supported by the same community of volunteer admins as our running one.
We have a Strength and Flex Forum at healthunlocked.com/strength... and we used to do a daily yoga practice over there. But I think we all got drawn into a 30-day James Dunne challenge to improve your core.
We also have a walking forum, where I am presently am getting excited about Nordic walking . See my first post about Nordic walking here: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
And the walking forum “Active 10” is over here: healthunlocked.com/active10
So even if you need to take a short or longer break from running, there are also other forums that we collectively support. Feel welcomed!
And obviously you can keep posting of your experiences on C25k as well.
Hope your back improves!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! So much kindness and support. I will definitely do that.
