Week 8 Run 1 - 3 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot!!

Before I did the first week 8 run this morning I was thinking I should just push on and hit 30 minutes a week early. 3 minutes extra compared to the week 7 runs doesn’t sound like much but it really took it out of me. I completed the full 28 minutes so I’m very please with that. Need to remember that the program has got me this far it will get me to graduation as well by just following Laura.

I felt exactly the same, 3 minutes more shouldn’t be a problem but found it difficult. Keep going, 2 more runs and you will be able to complete 30 minutes.

Just be patient, there is no hurry and each run is building stamina and strength.

Good job. Injury isn’t worth trying to push more than the plan is. 30 is only a couple of runs away

It's really interesting reading posts like this. You get your conformists who follow the plan to the letter and you get your rule breakers who always want to do that sneaky bit extra. always amuses me :)
