W6 R3 25 minutes

Week 6 has been a trying one the previous 2 runs have been hard and I've struggled to get into my pace.

So I was meant to run tomorrow but a last minute change gave time tonight. I wasn't feeling particularly in the mood but it was a clear night and I thought get your arse into gear if I don't finish it I've got time through the week.

Very slow deliberate start and all's going well first 10 I could feel a bit of tightness in my legs and the shin splints made a brief appearance. Half time bell and i was feeling good I actually got annoyed when Jo interrupted my music to tell.me I had 5 minutes left (normally I'm eternally grateful to hear her speak) last five were really good and I put a bit of speed into it then my time was up felt I could last another minute maybe more.

That stupid big grin appeared again for the last 10 minutes of the run and it's bizarre but it was my best run of the 3 and for.me far easier than W5 R3 for 20 minutes which felt like it climbed Everest.

I'm off to undo the good work with a couple cold ones.

Well done. Week 6 is really just a slightly longer week 5: you still have two walks in run1, one walk in run 2 and none in run 3. It won’t happen again though: the walks have served their purpose and you don’t need them any more. Week 7 is just practising the 25 minute run three times before you start to build up to 30. You’ve broken the back of the programme now and you know that if you can get from 0 to 25 in six weeks, you can certainly get from 25 to 30 minutes in another three weeks.

Brilliant, well done pubcarparking. I think w6r3 was my favourite, after that I felt I'd cracked it and I'm graduating this week! Enjoy your run to the finish line!

get the final run of week 6 out the way and guess what peeps... I nailed it. The last five mins were
