Up at 0630 and not concentrating on getting out and running. Must just do it! 0719 away I go. Still more issues with IT so now just going to run without head phones and the world can hear Michael along with me.

Today was hard, but on reflection although it really did hurt it was only the closing 10 minutes. I again just focused on inner calm and at the end strength to get over the line. Today I varied the run and included a bit of a hill to take me outside my comfort zone. It helped I think.

The journey through the last minute was the worst part of the run but I got there. Not sure how I felt after the run?

I am running a Park Run 5k on the 16th. This will be in week 8 though, it is with two friends who run all the time. They are there to run their own and then to see me over the line.

For now though WK7 awaits.......

Well done tfcmagpie😎

Is the running hard because of the pain you told us you have in your middle?

As you get to the longer runs your breathing should start to regulate and the run become more comfortable after the first 5 to 8 mins.

Do run slowly, no need for speed.😊

The pain which I have talked about is fine during running. I manage it. The scan is scheduled for the 15/09. Thank you so much for asking.

Congrats! 25 mins straight is awesome.

Well done W6 is a bit feisty... and no doubt Mr Smooth helped a bit, but I agree with sabaoh i do wish he had kept on speaking to encourage in the later runs.

Nicely on your way to the podium
