W2 R3 - I missed the half way bell and it completely messed with my head. I am blaming the stupid iPhone earphones - I can’t fit them in my abnormally small ears so just set off with my phone in my pocket - set off slow and steady loving life and then no half way bell - starting feeling like I was doing rubbish because I was getting tired but I wasn’t even half way 😢 then for some stupid reason I started running faster somehow thinking I would get there faster 🙈 suddenly Laura is telling me I’m on my last run. Unfortunately I am now about a mile away from home so had a loooong walk home. First run I’ve finished where I don’t feel strong

Hey, relax- you’ll get crap days running, we all get them. Some runs you’ll find harder than others. That’s just it. It’s to challenge us (I keep trying to convince myself of that!)
I sometimes forget my phone! But I run, as a run is still a run. It’s about getting out there and doing something.
Remember you’re doing great! Well done.
See you around fellow runner! Pam.
Well done.
Oh dear I’ve got small ears also. Try some wireless over ear earphones. When things are hard how about redefining success - by walking back you can see that already you are covering a fair distance so well done.
Nightmare. Keep going though!! I got some fab sport earphones for a fiver from tk Maxx.. the hook over ones. I thought they’d be rubbish but they work well on my small ears too!! Just think you added some distance to your exercise!!
Well... I’m not surprised you were tiring! Good job, and the walk back will have done you good!
I have very small ear canal (found out when I went to get hearing aids). I have to keep pushing the earphones back in my ear whilst running.....especially this morning with the horrible wind. Do the over the ear ones stay on ok?
