Week 2 smashed out the park!

Hi fellow runners,

I have been bitten by the running bug now! starting to look forward to the next scheduled day during my days off! :)

Managed to complete week 2, found though that my calves were starting to get tired/burn in the last 30 seconds of the run intervals, is that beneficial for the muscles there or should I jog a bit slower to get to the end of my run intervals without them tiring?

Already looking forward to week 3! I can already see the improvement in my distance as I run the same route every time and I can see a visual increase, certainly helps me feel good.

Well done, its great, isn't it! You could try some stretches before and after to reduce the tightness. Also make sure you're well hydrated. Hope you enjoy week 3👍

Well done you!

It’s amazing how quickly the bug can set in isn’t it?!

I struggle with my calves too. They burn bug I’ve found as the weeks have gone on that has eased. I’ve also slowed my pace.

Good job. Slower is the best policy while your muscles develop, tired isn’t necessarily bad though, they worked!

Enjoy week 3
