Week3 Run1 not entirely to the app plan, Parkrun number 1 done!

I have a free Saturday today, I don’t know what I’ll get another one, so I made the decision to join a Parkrun.

I’ve never done one before, a full 5k... with people!

2 ladies from a local club ran with me and paced me, I feel I could’ve gone faster, but when I got to the end I felt fine, I would probably have overdone it by myself my time is posted as 37:40

I ran the majority of it, and when I walked it was at more or less the same pace as the run.

I’ve no idea when I’ll get a chance to do another but, dare I say it... I enjoyed that!

Fantastic! Well done. Parkrun is an amazing thing. I wish I was free more often on a Saturday morning.

Good run... be very careful though, the plan is carefully constructed to minimise injury risk. Overuse injuries are very easy to pick up early on.
