So I started c25k in January and am still on week 4, don’t judge me!!. Bad ankle put me off (terrible fall in the forest week 3 back in early February!). I’ve done a couple of week four runs over the last 6 months (😬) and started w4 again last night. Loved it. I AM going to do it this time and am aiming to run my first park run on Christmas morning....! 🎄. Feeling good about it 💪🏼🏃🏼‍♀️ X

Hey... you’re certainly determined... (not allowed to judge so I can’t say that not quitting despite those setbacks makes you amazing)

Enjoy the rest of your journey, hopefully injury free.

Delighted to have you back, Runmitch. Don’t worry about the time taken. I’ve been here since the start of September and I’m still repeating week 1. It’s getting out there that counts, not how fast you get through. Happy running, and watch your step in those woods !

Perseverence is the name of the game, good luck for your runs and especially your first parkrun on Christmas🎄 🎅morning

(Didn't realise that there were any parkruns on Xmas Day) 🎄🎅

I come at this from the reverse position: I ended last year with a spinal fracture. Not as bad as it sounds, but ended up having to sit around for far too long getting weaker and becoming visibly less fit. I felt terrible. It made me ask the question "what am I going to do about it?"The answer, in May, was C25k. Now, for the most part (we all have off days!) I love running and it has given me a new lease of life. So these injury set backs can be motivators and great things can come out of it. Determination to over come injury translates into determination to complete the course, which is where I think you are now. You can definitely do this!!👊
