Hi my username is Montynoonoo I completed my week 9 run 3 today (I did complete it Saturday but walked for 2 minutes and felt I had cheated so ran run 3 again today a full 30 minutes) 😀
Hi Oldfloss, I ran 5k for Movember yesterday as the final run in my C25K journey, and although it took me 58 minutes, I ran non stop just to prove to myself that I could. I have been running longer each time, and actually ran 34, then 40 minutes for weeks 1 and 2 of week 9. Looking forward to receiving my graduate badge, but will probably be doing fast walks from now as my poor hip joints are aching. This has been an unbelievable achievement for me, and the support I've received along the way from this community has been amazing. B xx
Hi Oldfloss, my username is Janfran. I completed the ninth week of the C25K programme on Sat 2nd November by running 30 minutes on three days. Very proud of myself to have achieved it.
Hi, username is LolaMac81 and I completed week 9 run 3 last Thursday, I think it was! Looking forward to seeing 'Graduate' next to my username, at last!!

You are top quality!! BIG THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your support. You have helped me change my mantra from “I hate running” to “slow and steady” in a few weeks!!! Quite an amazing transformation! 😯
You will be amazed where it takes you.. in many things besides running!
I started in 2015... Graduated the week before Christmas .. and three years on... still running.. and heading towards my first HM at 68..well nearly 69, when I do it... and loving every moment... Slow and steady works... ! xxx
And another one here off the C25K production line! All these people making their health better is such good news! I completed my third 30 minute run about an hour ago and feeling quite good about myself right now! 😊
Hi, My username is Decade7. I ran W9R3 successfully yesterday morning and feel great! I never thought I would get there especially when Week 5 took me more like 3 weeks to complete! But I am there and proud!
Hi Oldfloss I'm still here!! 2 years on, but finally graduated this morning slow & steady I promise!!! (Though was naughty and extended it for a couple of minutes to a 5k) 👨🎓😁 Thanks for all your support sHAYM4N
Hello. I have graduate against my name but I don't think I've got my graduate badge yet. I'm sure I read somewhere that it could be downloaded too. Could you point me in the right direction please? Ta
The only badge is your virtual badge.. that all important little grey Graduate, by your name... You can download the certificate and print that off though
ea51ron here, I'm 68 years old and just completed week 9 run 3 this morning, 10th November by doing my local park run which I completed in 31:26. CHUFFED!!!!

Hi, my username is murraymint, I have done the Knowsley c25k over the past 9 weeks. I was unable to do their sunflowers run where all of the other members of the group graduated so I did Knowsley park run on Saturday in 34 mins 11 secs as my graduation run. Loved it! Xx
Hi there, LancashireLass123 here, I completed couch to 5k on 1st Nov, on holiday, and on my 16th wedding anniversary. Now struck down with the lurgy and not run in nearly a week! Looking forward to getting back out there though. Thanks. Sue
Hi My username is RGINVW and I have completed W9 R3 of the C25K, and also completed my first park run at Frimley Lodge on Sat 10 Nov. I am amazed that only 10 weeks ago I struggled to run the the 60 secs in Week 1 and now am running 5k
The Couch to 5K running plan was created by Josh Clark in 1996. He developed the plan for new runners as motivation through manageable expectations. The plan aims to get the user working out for 20 to 30 minutes, three days a week. The daily workouts start with a five-minute warm-up walk and works up to running three miles without a walking break within nine weeks. Clark started the website Kick and featured C25K on the site.
Hi, my user name is Mase54. I completed W9R3 on Tuesday 13 November. I can run for 30 minutes and have managed 5km in 35 minutes; goal is 5km in 30 minutes.
Hi there. My username is seriouslyblonde and I completed Week 9 Run 3 on the 13 November 2018. I'm from the UK, but am on holiday in South Africa and have graduated here. It has been an awesome 9 weeks and I still can't believe that I can run for a full 30 minutes!
Hello, I'm Waccaced and I completed run 3 of week 9 last night (15th November). I'm so pleased with myself, can't believe that 9 weeks ago I really struggled to run for just one minute, and after the first run I could hardly walk the next day! Now I can run for 30 minutes and even completed the local Parkrun last Saturday in 40 minutes, I only hope I can stay motivated!
Hello Oldfloss my username is Bel73 and i've completed W9R3 today November 16th! Pushed on to do 5k which took me about 45 mins. Feeling elated and excited for this new starting place. Thank you!! 😃🏆✨
Hi Oldfloss I graduated a few weeks ago but haven’t received my graduation badge, not sure if I posted in the correct place, I have really enjoyed the app and all the support from the community
I'm Downunderdame and I graduated on October 3rd but forgot to get my Graduation Badge. Such a great feeling and I'm enjoying increasing my pace. Can now run 5km in 31.5 min so getting close. I love Jo Wiley on the app. Id love to here a 5 to 10k one.
Thank you couch to 5K for getting me off my butt and enjoying exercise again!!!!

Hi Oldfloss. Amblerman here. Completed my final run of week 9 this morning. Feeling pretty pleased to say the least. Thanks to all on here for the inspiration and support throughout

Hi my username is Louwill. I complete Sunday the 18th of Nov ! I haven’t posted before (not good at social media) but thank you to all those that do, reading your posts and tips really got me to the end ! 😀🍾
This is not like any other social media out there..
Please, now you are out here... stay with us... New Graduates' posts can be so helpful to the Newbies... and you will get so much support from us as you move on too..Maybe think about the odd post on Whats your week? or Weekly chat , to begin with...We'd love to hear from you
Hi my username is Wenders3 and I completed week 9, run 3 on Sunday 18th November. I survived severe sepsis and multiple organ failure in the summer of 2017. I’ve been left profoundly deaf and with ongoing balance difficulties. I cannot tell you how great it feels to be able to get out and run again - couch to 5k is amazing and the support on here is fabulous. I felt so good yesterday that I ran on after the recommended 30mins and completed 5km in 34 min 32 sec 🏃🏻♀️😀xx
Thank you oldfloss! I was very emotional yesterday as I really didn’t expect to be able to do this! Looking forward to continuing and eventually getting back to running 10ks again like I used to ! 🙌🏻
I can only imagine how you felt.... This does go on... initially, perhaps.. with a great Consolidation and Continuation post on Bridge to 10K....maybe take a peek....and then stick around.. the support on there is fantastic, and you will know so many of us...You will surely make that 10K.... I run 10K regularly and am beginning my HM training in a few weeks time...
10 months since I began but I’ve managed to complete w9r3. Family, rain, sun and holidays all interfered......and week 7 was a big challenge, but I’ve made it. Thank you to everyone involved...I think I’m a different person 😳🤣 Hilary
Hello! My username is Crumbleaddict and I’ve just this evening completed week 9 run 3. I had done no exercise since School and didn’t even own a pair of trainers but when I turned 50 in September I jolly well got some, and look where they and Laura have taken me! I am astonished and I love it. It’s addictive! Next stop ParkRun....
Hello! I graduated C25K at the end of October and left a comment on the graduation badge post but never got my badge! ☹️ I would love to get it! My username is StudentNursee
I checked the October list.. your badge was given... it does not show up on some phones apparently...but on your main comp it will... It is there and it looks great!
FInally completed wk9 run3! It's taken me a whole year to reach this point - a sprained ankle (among other things) held me up. I'm so delighted to graduate. C25K is great. A year ago I'd never run in my life, and never thought I could. I turn 64 soon and feel so much better in body and spirit than I did. Thank you to the community for all the encouragement!
Hi Littlemissfitness here. I graduated on 20th November after completing my last 30 min run! Let’s see if I can keep it going. The hard work begins now!
Hi I did the graduation run about two weeks ago and have done all my running on a treadmill so I continue to up the effort by repeating the last run at a slight and increasing gradient. Long term ambition is to go and run outside on first sunny spring day looking like a pro!
I have coerced my partner to do the course and he is at W4 complaining about his knees but still sure “he can do anything I can do better”, Can’t remember who sang that but it used to be on 2way family favourites in the car on the way to Granny’s, sorry, age related trivia.
I definitely need a grey blob my my name to maintain my superior position in this household for the moment.
Hi my user name is jlib001 and I graduated today by completing my Week 9 , run 3 at the Hereford Park Run. Amazingly I ran all the way with a time of 30.56 minutes. Feeling well chuffed. This community has really helped me on my journey. Thank you to everyone.
I did it! Week 9 run 3 done! Neither Harvey (current Holden Retriever) nor Sam (now residing at the big dog beach in the sky) could have achieved such a feat but together Harveysam (me) has achieved the impossible - 30 minutes x 3 times! At times it might have resembled a zombie apocalypse but I think I looked ok at the end. And just two days before turning the big 59!
Hello - my username is kittypearl and I've just found this forum after completing my last couch-2-5k run last Friday 23 November. This was my 4th attempt at finishing the programme so feeling pleased! Now looking for tips and help on what to do next as I work best following a programme and not good at being left to my own devices!
Wednesday I will just go for a little run, in order to hit 50 miles (running/walking) this month, and Saturday, all being well, I will have lost a total of 2 stone since 1st September.
3 reasons to feel proud! (Cue : Heather Small singing ‘Proud’) 🙂
Finished the programme this morning with a bit of a flourish by doing the full 5k in a bit under 34 mins.
It’s been a great programme. Tough but achievable. I look forward to proving to myself that x 3 a week of these 5k is something I need to do for me. Is there an ongoing group for us to help with the ongoing motivation?
Congratulations and very well done! Check out the Continuation and Consolidation post on Bridge to 10K and also the What's next pinned post on C25K.... loads of support!
my username is runningnun and I completed week 9 run 3 of C25K on Sunday 25th November. Can't quite believe I did it. I started in early July, but following a knee injury Its taken me a lot longer than 9 weeks to complete! A brilliant physio has supported me through as well as the inspiring stories on this site. Thank you so very much!
Omg I’ve just seen how many people have graduated this month! This programme is amazing! It’s not my turn yet, but if all goes according to plan, I’ll be graduating next month 😊
Hi I’m Rainbowthistle and I did my graduate run on the 16th November. Had been hoping to do it in the amazing central park in NY but snow stopped that idea so did it on the treadmill instead!!
My name is Sarah Brown and I completed W9W3 on Tuesday 27th November 2018. I’m so pleased with my achievement and look forward to receiving my graduation badge. Many thanks Sarah.
I completed week 9 in October and then ran. 5 5k’s in 35 minutes before sprinting my ankle and having to take a month off to recover☹️So frustrating ! I never got round to contacting you about graduation but as I am now back running 5 K three times a week although taking 43 minutes to complete and have registered for our local park run I thought I would let you know
I am enjoying it soo much and plan to try the bridge to 10K in the new year
As a 66 year old grandma I would encourage everyone experiencing set backs or struggling to keep following the plan. It is so worth it when you can just get out there and run
I am so grateful to everyone involved in the C25K plan and especially Laura for making it happen
Hi, my name is Running_Saz and today I completed my Week 9 Run 3. I nearly didn't finish it alive (the wind nearly blew me away) but I made it. Very proud of myself
I'm Ruby Tiger and I did my week 9 run 3 on Saturday 24th November. Thanks to everyone for helping me keep going. Still jot made the 5 k but it's early days!
Hi it’s December 2nd and I am Reb1971. Finally graduated this morning on a foggy run round the docks in Belfast. It’s my second attempt at the programme. Amazed and determined to carry on running wherever my job takes me and despite the long hours which put pay to the first attempt. Please send me my badge!
