GRADUATION!

It’s graduation day tomorrow and I cannot believe the sense of achievement, not just from the running, but from sticking to the programme. I’m recommending C25k to absolutely everyone, even my mum, who’s watched with interest as I’ve lost the fat lass waddle and regained the swag that comes free with running legs 😊 Thank you everyone for your help and words of wisdom and encouragement xxx

I have been running for 5 years now - after doing C25k. Although I am training now to attempt to complete a full marathon next year, I no longer run non-stop any more but run/walk. I am 72 now and have had some recent "problems" - was OK until age 70 but starting to understand that I am getting older :) BUT I still want to keep the cardio exercising going. I think what C25K did mostly for me was to give me that satisfaction of "sticking to the programme" . So much so that I actually NEED a programme to stick to!! :) So I am now on week 16 of a "Couch to Marathon" programme :)

Arrrr! Done and dusted. If you'd told me in August that I'd actually want to go out in the cold wet dark to run up hills for 30+ minutes I'd have said you were bonkers, but I did it and it was good and I'm going to keep doing it, too!
