Well, yesterday was the big day. Just worked a 6 day week, been battling a cold / cough all week and it was freezing outside but I knew I had to push myself out today and finish what I'd started no matter how much I wanted to curl up in front of the fire.
40mins later, I had achieved my goal. I covered 4.8K in 30mins and I was a liitle miffed I was only 0.2K off the 5K but I couldn't have pushed much harder. I'm so pleased I managed to graduate though. Onwards and upwards, I'll keep running and do a few weeks of consolidation and then maybe look towards increasing towards 10K. Want to pull in a park run or two soon too.
It's been great sharing the journey with you. For those who haven't got to week 9 yet, keep pushing, keep believing in yourself and you'll get there. It's such an amazing feeling to finally get to the end of C25K and begin the rest of my running adventures.
