Week 1 completed

Week 1 done and I found the introduction really good. I could probably run 5k but it would be painful and would put me off so this is great way to build up confidence and pace.

Two of my runs were outdoors on the roads and the third on a treadmill. I felt fine after all three runs so I’m keen to progress to week 2.

The goal is to lose some weight before Christmas and start park runs on a Saturday.

Just keep running

Welcome Salmac - well done on surviving the first week ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don’t panic if you don’t find yourself losing weight at first. You’re turning fat into muscle and muscle is much heavier than fat. On the bright side, it also burns calories much more effectively, so it’ll all come good in the end 😀
