Week8... In the bag πŸŽ‰

β€’15 Replies

Last run of week 8 today, & by far my favourite run of the whole of c25k so far!

I took my little people out with me, and we all ran the whole thing, laughing, chatting, having fun! ... the laughter was mainly at me not being able to keep up with them 🀣🀣

But by the end we were all running together as a team, at the same pace πŸ™Œ

In the past we’ve often entered β€˜fun’ runs together & I’ve always felt so bad asking them to walk & run πŸ™ˆ They are both super speedy & love running... They take after their Dad!

However I think I surprised them today, & now I love running too πŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ

I didn’t want to take them on my usual route, because of the busy traffic... So we ventured off road in to gorgeous open fields! 🌾

Bring on week 9 now... I’m ready for you! 🀩

Hahaa, I like it... #dreamteam πŸ”₯πŸ‘Œ

I almost held off this run so I could fly solo tomorrow, Sooooo glad I went today! πŸ˜†

Running through the fields was ace! Bit lumpy & bumpy underfoot, but great! Also having the kids with me gave me a huge distraction of it being different to my usual routeπŸ™ƒπŸ™Œ

Thanks Thundersloth πŸ˜†

Felt so good taking them with me! πŸ’ͺπŸ€©πŸ‘Œ

Nice shoe porn! Lovely family run! Enjoy your last week, I am just behind you!

Your little people have quite normal shoe sizes. What are they? 3? 4? If smaller, what shoe makes are they using? Some greedy tiny feet would love some info.

Have a great final week and graduation run!

Hey thanks IgaT, We are soooo close to finishing πŸ™Œ

My trainers are size 4 & the kids both have size 2, they have Adidas cloud foam... Mine are Adidas too but I have no idea what type as I’ve had them ages! Keep promising myself some new ones when I graduate πŸ˜†

I have about size 2. Adidas cloud foam you say... Are they good running shoes? Trails or city? Well... Anyway, I will check them out when I come across them. Thank you :)

Different question, I lost the post about all those emojis, and pictograms. How do you post them?

β€’ in reply toIgaT

Good thing about having size 2 feet is being able to buy from the kids section πŸ˜†πŸ‘Œ

I think the cloud foam are mainly for road & track running 😊

They do have some other trainers... Karrimor duma’s, they use those for xcountry & beach running, they aren’t as nice to photograph tho as they’re filthy πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ

Eek, not sure if I’m the best person to ask about emojis, I always post in this forum from my phone. So I use the app & just type the same as I would when texting.

I have a little πŸ˜„ face in the left hand corner, I press that & it brings up emojis & gifs πŸ™ƒ

True, the kids shoes are cheaper, but usually less choice and not design to last long, as kids are growing fast and needs new shoes anyway :P

I will check those shoes when I will be in the shop. I have quite wide feet with high arch with history of tendinitis, so I have to choose shoes carefully. I had similar problem with hiking boots and shoes, as much that I was suggested to by special boots made for my feet only. I would love that apart from the fact that they cost around Β£1300-1500 O_O

β€’ in reply toIgaT

Wow... they’d be super expensive hiking boots!

It might be worth going for a gait analysis to find the right fit of trainers for you... it’s best to choose wisely & be careful if you have history of tendinitis!

Need to take care of your feet! πŸ€©πŸ™Œ
