Hi ButtercupKid, I hope things are go well for you, don't let the wind stop you from running, by the weekend it's going to be a bit cold, so get outside and get running on whatever week you are doing on C25K, I think you are on week 2 or 3 if I am not mistaken. 🚶🏃🏆😊
I love your optimism, AlMorr ! Eighth go at week 1, in fact. All my possible routes run through elderly woods, so for safety reasons, if it’s a gale I don’t go.
I had a branch come down when I was running in the woods a few weeks ago. It was close enough to scare me, so I don't blame you for not risking it. Live to run another day!
My thoughts exactly. Most of the trees here are still carrying a lot of leaves, and that’s when you’re most likely to get stuff coming down. Once they’re bare the wind will filter through. Then I’ll be safe, if frozen !
Do you live in the North of Scotland,? It has been blowing a gale there for the last few days and the Met Office forecast strong north winds with snow showers at the end of the week.
Mother’s Little Comfort, aren’t you AlMorr ?!! I’m in NE Scotland and the wind only came up this morning, but it hasn’t dropped at all since. I can cope with rain or snow, but I don’t trust the trees. A dozen or so came down locally in the last gale and much as I want to get on, I won’t risk it.
