Oh bah...

After being super good & resting after a chesty viral infection, I tiptoed off the IC wearing what may well be the thickest buff in the world. Lungs ok, but... plantar fasciitis struck far worse than expected- limped home growling & huffing so much (into the aforementioned buff) that my glasses steamed up. 🙄😡 Budge up you lot & make room on the IC, back & grumpy!

Whinge over... getting out the winter cycle leggings! 😂

Great you're feeling better , not so good you now have plantar fasciitis. Shame as you got new shoes not so long ago . I hope you get better soon and get rid of the pain 😊

Oh sympathy to you too - we are quite squashed with the crowd on this IC! 🙄 Hoping for us all to escape soon. 😄

Oh pffft! Poor you, Elfe, that’s so unlucky. 🙁 Have you ever seen anyone about your PF? My brother in law had it last year, and had a recovery programme (during which he was still able to run a little) from his physio. I roll the arch of my foot with a hard ball when I feel a plantar twitch coming on - though am sure you know all about this. Hope it eases up soon my lovely. xxx

Hi Sadie & thank you. Rolling my foot vigorously on a tennis ball as I type!😄 Yes I saw my GP about 9 months ago, (he’s a runner & very good with running glitches) so I have exercises & do heat, ice & rolling. It has been pretty good for months, then I had a sudden flair up - I went for a walk in different shoes- disaster! - Won’t be using those again.

Happy running my lovely, I’ll be back as soon as I can be. Xx

Pleased to hear that 🎾, good lass. And how lucky you are to have a runny GP! They are like gold dust. I am sure you will be up and running again soon, but do stay close to us, we can still cheer you on the IC. Big hugs. xxx
