I did Week 7 Run 1 on Thursday last week. I haven’t run since thanks to catching a bug from one of my colleagues.
I’ve been in bed all weekend with a sore throat, aches and feeling very tired. I was hoping to go for a run tonight but it’s been affecting my chest today (not a good combo with asthma).
Bah! I was doing so well ☹️

Sorry you’re not well. It’s frustrating but rest up and get back out when you can. I’ve just ran 30 mins after being ill for a fortnight. Wasn’t sure I would manage it but felt surprisingly good even if I did use a load of tissue on a runny nose 😢
I know how you feel 😢, but it's worth taking an extra few days off to recover, if you were really under the weather (ie, flu, a proper cold). You will be surprised how you will keep your fitness after a break. 🏃♀️😁
And you are doing well agirlinwinter! But ‘it’s the season and stuff happens- take the time you need to really get well again, you know the runs will be there waiting for you!
