As I complete my W8R3 this evening, I move closer towards completing this and I’m over the moon with my achievements during my journey, much to the wife’s frustration as I seem to talk a lot about running these days!
Today was a busy day and as I left work, I contemplated giving the run a miss for a split second and I’m glad I got on with it. As I began my run this evening I realised I was ahead of my normal pace and I felt ok so I kept it up and it was great. Managed to get exactly 5k in 28 minutes 😳 I couldn’t believe it but wow I felt alive afterwards. My body aches a little for the first time since week one but I know it’s because I pushed myself.
If anyone thinks they can’t do this and if you did what I did and looked at week 8 and 9 when you were in week 1 and thought not a chance...don’t let it change your mind because you will achieve it as this app truly works.
For me, someone who hated running entirely am now proud to say I enjoy it and I’m a runner!
Roll on graduating next Sunday! 🏆🏃♂️
