Completed week 9 r1 tonight went well pushed the last couple of km after a slow first 2 A’s was up hill.

I did 4.95km in the 30 mins lol determined to get the 5k in 30.

I’m thinking of finishing on a parkrun on Saturday do they have pace runners at them?

Some parkruns do... but not always... can depend where you are and if there’s any major runs on in the area this coming weekend. If you arrive early and ask they may make sure that any pacer they have puts the 30 jacket on.

You can probably do it in 30 though... I’d recommend running R2 deliberately slow, to build the endurance without using the power too much... that should have you ready to go faster on Saturday.

Today you were what 50m short? So you’ll certainly be able to do 5k in 31 if you just miss, which would be an amazing time for a first 5k.
