So cold running tonight - wondering how I will cope in the proper winter.
Don't like bulky clothes...so think layers....and ear muffs - very old ears!!

If you think it's cold just now, wait until the end of the week, on Friday according to The Met Office, the whole of the UK is in for an Arctic blast of unseasonalably cold air with strong winds and snow showers even on some low ground in the North of Scotland
Layers is the way, and you can keep nice and snug.
Gloves and a buff are also s great help.
Bob hat...Buff...gloves..lightweight jacket..winter leggings.. and run...like the wind...it is glorious!!!
A hat is a great comfort, I always think. And I have some very thin running gloves which I can put thicker gloves over if necesary.Usually thats enough unless the weather is exceptionally cold. I think having a range of different clothing items which you can layer up in a variety of ways to suit the conditions is a good idea. Don't forget that even in the daytime the light level can be quite low, so if you're running outside, wear hi-vis preferably and make sure hats, ear muffs, headphone don't obscure external noise completely.
