Why was that so much harder than the previous 2 runs even though it was exactly the same. Running on really heavy legs today ~ struggled to keep going for the first time .

Welcome to the bad run club😀. You have to have these to appreciate the good runs.

We’re you properly hydrated (light coloured pee)? That’s one of the usual reasons. If you’re not properly hydrated your muscles etc can’t work at their best and heavy legs are often a sign. Well rested? Think about what was different to see if you can spot anything but don’t over analyse it. Once you’ve had a few not so good runs you’ll just accept them and take them in your stride 😊 sorry about the pun.

Hydration could have been an issue , thanks for the heads up on that . It’s the first bad run , I was so disappointed as I had walked for a minute or two then found it harder to get going . I’ve always managed to run for the times given . Anyway onwards and upwards , next run Tuesday 😀

The first bad run is always a shock. You’ve done well to get this far before you had one👍

I’ve had a lot of bad runs... some beat me down and I had to come back at them another day... happens to the best of them. You though, you took that sucky run on, you didn’t quit, and you stand here victorious... great job.

The next run will be smoother... unless there’s an obvious reason for it sucking, don’t dwell on it, move on... you got this.
