When I began using the app on 5th June this year I honestly did not think I would be capable of even running for 3 minutes never mind 30 minutes non stop. And yet here I am. I’ve completed the program.
Big thanks to everyone on this forum for the posts that kept me going and the magical words of support when I needed it most. I honestly don’t think I would have got here without you.
What I’ve learned:
- It’s okay if you have to repeat a run (or runs)
- It’s okay to run really really really slowly. 🐌
- It’s okay if you don’t think you’re ‘a runner’, you might surprise yourself by finding at some point along the way you start looking forward to your runs.
- It’s okay if (like me) you have as much of a big red tomato face at the end of the program as you did at the start.

Well done Jenny! Awesome achievement! 👏🎉🏃♀️🥂😀 Your next task is to spend the next few days basking in glory and grinning from ear to ear! Fabulous stuff. 👏👏👏
Ha! Well I might bask for a day at least. I’ve caught the fitness bug so much I’ve now joined beginners ‘ladies lifting’ class on a Saturday morning. (It’s surprisingly good fun)
I do plan to keep running three times a week though.
And thank you 😊
Congratulations Jenny 👏👏👏👏 really well done . That is one big smile 😁 you should feel very proud .. enjoy your celebrations 🍹🍹
You can feel the pride oozing out of your photo - and so well deserved 👐🏻👐🏻👐🏻!! I can’t wait for that to be me 😀. Enjoy your well-earned 🍷🍷. Good luck with the lifting 👍🏼👍🏼
Its a pleasure to hear of someone, who like lots of us, had doubts about qualifying and then gets there 👍👍👍. Red face? a badge of honour. Celebrate and feel proud 😊😊😊
Thank you. I’m almost glad that it took me slightly longer to compete the program because it’s really helped me to establish this great new habit. Im not sure I could stop running now even if I wanted to. 😊
This is so great -we’ll done. I’ve just started week 4 and it’s really great to hear about people’s successes and their journey along the way. Well done again!
Well done from me too. I agree that this forum is key to success for lots of us. Was for me too. I also feel just as puffed as I did at the start, but of course we're exercising (I can barely call it running in my case) for 30 mins instead of a couple so we really have done well. Enjoy whatever future exercise you do. I've found this first post C25k week rather difficult and am still looking for my new motivation.
Thanks, and well done on graduating. I think you’re allowed some time to recover. Relax and take time to figure out what you want to aim for next. Whatever you do you you have already proved to yourself now that you can motivate yourself when you want to. Good luck!
