Only went and done it

Got myself all motivate after work put on my running gear and off I went on my final run. Did not manage 5k in 30 minutes, but carried on until I did just under 33 minutes so very impressed with that considering I could barely run 1 minute 9 weeks ago.

That’s awesome. I’m graduating next week but must go at half the speed you do so I’m mega impressed you can cover so much ground and in a mega respectable time. Go you!! X

Congratulations! Great last run, very good 5k time... consolidation and the. Extending a run should give you the tools to go sub 30. Enjoy celebrating tonight.

Feels good. Just 1 cheeky one to celebrate don't want to spoil the diet still a few pounds to lose.

Whoop whoop 🎉🍾🎈🙂 Many congratulations to you, it's a fabulous achievement and one that most people will never accomplish so you should be very proud.

Don't worry about the 5K thing, The vast majority of people never run that distance before graduation and many don't run it afterwards either. It's irrelevant at this stage. But 33 minutes is brilliant so very well done.

Consolidate now and just get into a routine for running three times a week then you can decide what you want to do next. The running world is now your oyster..... 🤗

Already thinking of a park run and a 10k run sometime in the future.

As with a lot of things in life, slow is good and generally better for one's health and knees 😉

I’ve just done w7R1 today. But I’m pretty slow. I’ve just turned 60 and never run in my life.

Wow! Congratulations, great time too!

Well done. It’s so inspiring to read about people graduating who could barely do week one when they start. I plan to be in your position in a few weeks. Best wishes for your future running!
