Struggled with this last run of week 6 today. Not really sure why. It just seemed to go on forever, and I was willing 'jo' to say only 5 mins left to go. I didn't enjoy it at all, quite disappointed really. Now I'm worrying about week 7 πŸ€”

It's funny I had two runs that was really hard going & like you seemed never ending!! Week 6 was a struggle for a lot of us! It's hard running for so long took me a while to get into continuous running but just done week9run 1 & made it so if I can do it any one can!!! Put this run behind you keep smiling & onwards & upwardsπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ keep posting as great help available & we are all cheering each other onπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ x

Don't get down over this! It seems like we all have off days, I know I have. Look positive, it may have been tough, but you completed it and as I've said to my running buddy on several occasions now..."if it isn't hurting, it isn't working". Okay I'm not entirely sure that's correct, but it sounds good eh?

What we have done on a couple of weeks runs is to ask ourselves if we really feel ready for the subsequent weeks runs. Once I've said no and we then both re ran that weeks program, similarly my buddy last week said after the final run in week 7, lets take this week again. So we did. So last night we finished the second attempt at the week 7 runs, I'm glad we did as we finished the 25 mins feeling really fresh and confident that we could have continued further.

So keep it up...and don't go worrying about next week!

It happens to us all (well most of us I think) - I had a lousy W7R2. But from my own experience and reading other peoples' stories on here (yup, I had the same doubts) you will get through it. Repeat, you will get through it. What worked for me was telling myself that my run for W7R3 was maybe a practice one for the real thing - if I made it, it was done and ticked off, if I didn't, it didn't matter as it was a practice run. That took the pressure off and I had my best run to date, enjoyed it too. So go girl!

Some runs feel harder than others and sometimes there's no reason for that. The fact is you did it and therefore you are ready to move onto the next one. Remember to run very slowly and also recall the image of you on your very first run and compare to where you are now! Should bring a smile to your face 😊
