I’m so pleased it’s over and even more pleased that I managed to complete it! I’ve spent the last fortnight stressing over the 20 minute run, but this morning I kept telling myself, “It’s only one run, it’s just one run today.” I also played music for the first time and three quarters of the way through, ‘Search for the hero inside yourself’ helped enormously! I feel like a real runner now 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏿♂️. And it’s all downhill now until week nine and Parkrun! I have come so far. What a great programme. 👐🏻👍🏼
Scary week 5 - under the belt!!: I’m so pleased... - Couch to 5K
Scary week 5 - under the belt!!
This is my next run and you have just made me feel massively less nervous so thank you and very very very well done to you
I went really, really slowly to start. Once the first ten minutes was over I felt like I could do it. I even had some energy left at the end to finish with a little celebratory sprint. So...slowly slowly catchy monkey! You can do it! 🐵 🏃🏻♀️ 🐵
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! You must be sooo proud of yourself. To think a few short weeks ago your headline was fell at the first hurdle. Look what you have achieved
I'm chuffed for you 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I just read back through your old posts - making me feel positive and ready for this run next week!! Well done you. you should be so proud of yourself. Look at what you've achieved in such a small amount of time.
I know, if someone had told me I’d run for 20 minutes a few weeks ago (or even last week!) I would have laughed at them. Thank you so much for your support. Good luck with your running too. 👍🏼👍🏼
