That was much easier than the first run this week. I keep it steady like everyone said, and it really helped.

Today is world Mental Health Awareness Day and a big part of me doing this is boat my mood. Alot of what I do is late nights, early starts and too long spent in front of screens.

Here's a song I wrote about that real low feeling. It will and does get better... Just takes some work

Me too, I have depression so I’m hoping to improve mind and body with C25K 😊

I think it is good for me. I certainly feel smugly happy when I’ve completed a run 😊

Good on you Doozer, great song. I’m sure many people can relate to those feelings.

I used to get black cloud days a lot, but I hardly get them now since starting C25K, feeling much much happier generally and so much more energetic at work and home. It’s incredible what exercise can do!

Cheers Thundersloth, for me that half hour getting away from everything is really helping

W7R3 tomorrow... can’t quite believe it!

It’s felt like so much has happened and changed... but in the blink of a eyelid, madness!

Great post. I have/am trying to recover from a bad period of acute anxiety. I'm not sure running is a 'cure' or anything, but it does give me something relatively trivial to focus on, and a bit of time out from everything else. I'm also very good at putting my kit on & get myself out of the door without thinking too much, something I now need to try to transfer to other areas of my life! Look after yourself, and good luck with the running. 😎

Exercise has been proven to help with depression (maybe not an "off" switch, maybe more of a volume control)

I really hope it helps for you. Keep us posted 😊
