Ok. So that was 'ok'. I concentrated on slowing down a bit if I needed to but found when I wasn't concentrating I had started to go a little faster. Not much mind, still a snail. Errrrr 8 minutes tomorrow!!!!! WHAT?!

You are doing OK so far FinhamTap, 8 minutes tomorrow and a lovely 20 minute relaxing run slow and steady for Week 5 run 3 two days later 😊

I am buzzing after w5r2 and I, like you, found the 5 minutes hard. But I am so trusting the programme now. The second 8 min run was hard at the end but I did it and so will you 🙌

Well done!

Have a nice rest day and don't worry about your next run. You can and you will do it! You are very well prepared :)

Are you running daily? You posted about ending week 4 yesterday and refer to another run tomorrow. The rest days are needed to heal the microtears in the muscles... no repair and they grow... and at any moment can become full on torn muscle... and that could mean weeks/months out
