Advice needed!

Hi all. I graduated in July but since then I have not been out running consistently due to work and home life getting in the way. This week I'm back to normal on the work front and can fit in 3 runs a week. This morning I went out and ran week 5 run 3. Breathing was fine but my Lord the last two minutes was hard on the legs!!! So my question is what next? Should I carry on with the programme and do week 6 run 1? Many thanks for your help.

Welcome back... you got through that run, so why not carry on from there? Be careful with pace... last time you ran you were going longer, it’s easy to speed up when you go shorter again without realising it.

Thank you for your reply. I made sure I stuck to snails pace. Think it was the only way I got through it. Am looking forward to getting back to it...

It’s up to you. It’s your running so you can what you fancy. Slow Jogs would be nice and while doing so you could decide where to go next with your running

Thank you! I kind of like the discipline of following a programme as it gives me a goal to aim for. I didn't really enjoy the freedom after the programme and maybe that's why it was easy not to run?? I need to plan a new goal for when I get back to 30 minutes of running!! x

Did you attempt the follow-on programme C25k+ Stepping Stones podcasts? They are free to download from here and are great practice 💪

Welcome back and just take it slowly easing yourself back in.........there is no rush.

Have you read the guide to post C25K running? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it may help you formulate your plans.
