I ran run 2 week 8 , 12 days ago 😮 since then I’ve not been able to run .
I’ve hurt my back & I’m taking strong painkillers . I’m so near to finishing but obviously have had a setback.
What I’d like to know is when I feel fit enough to run again , where should I re-start ? Should I set back a few weeks or finish my run 3 of week 8 ? 🤔
I appreciate any advice x

The advice here is that if you are off running for less than two weeks you can just continue where you left off, however, in your case, depending how long you are off running it might be better to go back a few weeks, I hope you will be back to running very shortly. 😊
Firstly, don't run until the need for painkillers has passed...then when you are sure you feel ready to run, maybe just head out for a brisk walk... wear the running shoes and try a gentle jogette.
See how it feels and then decide where you want to be..maybe the start of Week 7... take it gently and listen to your body. The repeat will give you the answers you need and the confidence to move on!
I had a 2 week break after W7 R3 and managed to start week W8 R1 fairly easily. Just see how you go once you're all mended but don't doubt yourself (it's one of the many lessons I've learnt on this plan)
I was on W8 Run1 but off for 10 days with hacking cough. I started running again yesterday with the 20 minute run to see how the lungs were. I’ll do another 20 minute one then a 25 minute and then back into week8. It’s all play it by ear, so do the same to suit you.
I can't beat the advice you've had already, just wanted to commiserate at having to pause it when you were sooo clooose! Try the walk-then-run that oldfloss has advised. She knows her stuff 😊
