C25k week 2

My first run of week 2. I have never been fit but found I could do the run not easily but comfortably. I am sure it won't last as I progress through the weeks. I have invested in some cushioned running socks and a belt for my iPod with little drink bottles so I must be serious :). Feeling so much more energised and proud to have got this far. I just hop pride doesn't come before a fall!

Sounds like you are off to a great start, I found week 2 really tough. In fact the program builds up your fitness week on week and if anything gets less stressful as the weeks go on. Keep it slow and you'll be fine.

None of us were fit to begin with and everyone is constantly amazed they can do each week. Take each run at a time and enjoy!

you are doing great , well done :D go with the program and you will be just fine :D

If you're finding the runs comfortable then you're doing fine. Personally I was beetroot faced and knackered after every one! Just run very, very slowly, stretch after every run and take your rest days and you should be ok,

Proper running socks make such a difference as does having a running water bottle. Good luck and well done for progressing yo week 2.

Well done for starting the program Lizeo. Just stick to what Laura says and you will do it. It's a fab podcast.
