I hate to say this but I didn't find any of it easy (I was so unfit!) But the great feeling after finishing each run made it worth it and kept me coming back for more.

I think the programme is designed to be tough - that's what makes you stronger, but look at what you've achieved already. You're ready for this!

Slow is fine...just keep it that way... try to relax...and don't overthink the runs:)

Well done!

I have not found this easy at all! I found wk3 very daunting but I took the advice of many people on here and slowed my pace right down and I think some of my hardships have been mental rather than physical. I also changed from listening to music to listening to an interesting podcast which helps me forget that I'm running (slow jogging). Please don't give up, you've came so far already and anything that's worth doing isn't going to be easy. Trust me you've got this!

Luckily you can get your support from this forum too!

You are doing fine.

Keep at it! 😸

Firstly, well done for starting the programme. I started this embarassed to be seen out running as I'm quite overweight. I planned my routes & run times where I hoped no-one would see me. Week 1 was really tough & I honestly thought there was no way I was ever going to be able to run & didn't enjoy it at all-but I stuck at it. Weeks 3 & 4 I started to enjoy it more. Week 5, I absolutely loved. I'm now on week 6 & although the 1st run was challenging I really look forward to running. I now run when I want, where I want & I don't care if people see me. Everyone has their own motivation for doing this-mine (which I posted about recently) was because I started doing agility with my dog & I needed to get fitter to keep up with her. Last weekend was huge for me I did the milestone w5r3 & competed for the first time with my dog & we won one of our classes. Not only that but I feel so much better too. I'm lucky to have had so much support-on here & from friends & family. Keep going-you can do this!!!!!! Honestly, if I can do this, anyone can!!!!!
