Phew that was hard work

No time for a run tomorrow so I did my wk2r3 a day early. I’m living puffing proof that taking a rest day between runs is a really good idea😳!

Yes, fortunately you’re only living proof of that in a “that was hard” sense... you could have been injured for months. I just got in from a run... if I knew I couldn’t run on Friday, I’d run Saturday and be safer. You also undid some of the building that your muscles were doing as you slept.

Stick to the plan, it’s been very carefully devised by people who know what they are doing. You’ll finish this fitter, stronger and a better runner if you do exactly what it says to do.

You did well to do back to back runs ☺, might be advisable to take an extra rest day or two to let your body recover before taking on week 3..

Sat in the sunshine for 20 mins with a coffee then dug the garden! So not that shattered thank you😊. Looking forward to tomorrow’s run. Can’t believe I said that!!!
