The first frost of the year and the first run of week 4!
Seeing on the app that I was to run for 5 minutes was scary. Over the last few days my anxiety has flared up and things that have seemed easy for weeks seem impossible.
Yesterday I listened to Bryony Gordon’s podcast ‘Mad world’ (1000% recommend it if you struggle with depression/anxiety/confidence). She is a huge advocate of the post run happiness fuelling a happy day.
So with this ringing in my ears I got out of bed, layered up and got moving. It was hard, and I may have had to stop from stitch a couple times but I did it and I’m not scared to say I cried when I finished my first solid 5minutes running.
It’s totally mind over matter for me, we are capable of anything we put out minds too! 🏃🏻♀️
