No run tonight as I am off in the morning to buy fancy pants new running shoes!!!!!!!! I actually cannot believe how excited I am about this........and to then get out tomorrow for my first run in them!!!!!!! Who'd have thought the idea of new trainers would bring so much joy to me!!!!!!!

I will be doing my local park run tomorrow in the new trainers I bought today, first ever 'proper' running shoes, hope they will be ok. Good luck in your choice x

Thanks guys!!!!!!! Have to say in only a couple of weeks the noticeable difference in my cash flow from quitting the fags is amazing! I didn't consider it to be expensive (I smoked roll-ups not proper fags) but I've noticed a difference. So yea, treating myself !!!!!!

I flirted briefly with running a few years ago and bought some proper running trainers.....I trained for a HM for a few weeks, then quit the training programme, did the HM anyway (walked most of it) and my terribly expensive analysed shoes spent four years gathering dust...........they have had some serious use over the last ten weeks.......but can feel they need replacing............getting slight shin splints..........can't wait to get my shiny new ones tomorrow!!!!!!!!
